Two emphatic slices of world music took the stage at Stern Grove this past weekend to brighten up a gray San Francisco Sunday. The afternoon began with the high-energy sounds of “Mali” by Vieux Farka Touré. The upbeat vibe continued as the skillful salsa grooves of Roberto Roena and Boogaloo Assassins filled the afternoon air.
We had a great time once again talking with the diverse crowd about the world of craft brewing. A number of visitors to the Anchor educational booth this week educated US with a demonstration of their favorite salsa moves.
We’ll hope to see you at an upcoming Stern Grove Festival performance!
